These add a beautiful finishing touch to chocolates or cakes. Use smaller petals, or crushed petals, to decorate chocolates.

Ingredients

  • 20 unblemished fragrant rose petals (make sure they have not been sprayed with pesticide)
  • 1 medium egg white
  • 100 g

Method

Make sure that the petals are washed and completely dry. Beat the egg white briefly (you don’t want it to be frothy) and place it in one bowl, and the sugar in another.

Using a paint brush or pastry brush, carefully paint both sides of each petal with egg white, then dip them in the sugar so that they are completely covered. Place the petals on a baking tray lined with non-stick baking
