I adore fruit puddings and crumbles. They are a perfect end to Sunday lunch, and the ultimate comfort food, especially when laced with white chocolate (my daughter Millie’s favourite kind of chocolate when she was a child). Don’t bother peeling the apples; it is pretty tedious and you are removing the most nutritious bit of the apple. You can use rhubarbs, plums, apricots or any other stone or orchard fruit in place of the apples.
