Ingredients

  • 10 garlic cloves (or as many as you have) or 2 heads garlic, cut in half around the equator
  • 2 big pinches

Method

Heat the oven to 150°F to 200°F (65°C to 95°C).

Peel the garlic cloves or leave the wrappers on if confiting the whole head.

Lay the garlic in the bottom of an ovenproof baking dish. Sprinkle with the salt. Top the garlic with the oil until the cloves are just submerged. Cover with a lid or foil to ensure a tight seal. Place in the oven and
