  • ½ lb (230 g) mushrooms, any variety, sliced or halved
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Method

Pan roast the mushrooms with a big pinch of salt and pepper and toss with the garlic. Slice and toast the bread, top with the mushroom mixture and the arugula, and serve.
