You can combine the butter, parsley, and thyme into a compound butter or add all of the ingredients separately. These peas are a real treat just eaten out of a bowl by yourself with little ceremony. They can also be served alongside any protein or other veggies as you like. This is also one of my favorite things to combine with leftover rice from Chinese takeout. The sauce makes the rice creamy, and the rice makes the peas filling enough for a full dinner.
