  • 5 red peppers
  • 5 yellow peppers
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed

Method

Char the peppers on an open flame or on the braai until blackened. Once they are ready, place them in a plastic bag to steam for about 20 minutes. Remove the skin and seeds and wash the peppers under cold running water. Cut the peppers into quarters or strips.

Combine the garlic with the lemon juice, olive oil and salt. Place the peppers in a dish, pour the liquid over and mix everythin
