Fillet is a favourite in both Sababa stores and what makes ours a little bit extra-delicious is the overnight marinating. It is very simple to cook, but you do need to plan ahead.

Ingredients

  • 1½–2 kg beef fillet
  • 10 g thyme, chopped
  • 10 g

Method

Marinate the fillet overnight with the chopped thyme, rosemary, garlic, zest and juice of the lemon, black pepper, olive oil and soy sauce, making sure the fillet is well-covered with the marinade.
