Wash, zest and juice the limes.
Bring 4 cups (1 litre) water to the boil in a pot, then add the lime zest, lime juice and brown sugar.
Remove the pot from the heat, add the kinkeliba leaves and infuse for 4 minutes. Strain, then add the cardamom pods and cinnamon stick and leave to cool.
Strain the cooled tea into glasses and serve with ice.
