I’ve always enjoyed making slice ’n bake cookies because they’re so simple, but their flavor has always been lacking. So I took what I love about sugar cookies and shortbread cookies, combined them, and created these. I love to add a little lemon flavor to the cookie dough and finishing them off with the lemon glaze is a necessity.
