Nice and simple, this. Just one ingredient smothered in a yippee-kay-yay kind of dressing. Just in case you live somewhere more exotic than London’s home counties, Chinese leaves are also known as Napa or Chinese cabbage.

Ingredients

  • 1 pert-looking head Chinese leaves (Chinese cabbage)
  • 4 tbsp silken tofu
  • 1 large

Method

Shred the Chinese leaves on to your finest willow pattern platter.

Blend the rest of the ingredients, seasoning to taste, and serve in a bowl in the middle of the leaves. Regale your guests with the tale of the plate’s star-crossed lovers as they emerge from beneath the salad...
