Ingredients: 1 fat apple, grated; 1 onion, finely chopped; 1 tbsp lemon juice; ½ bunch of fresh flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped; 3good tbsp mayonnaise; 1tbsp harissa paste (or less if you’re not a habitual fire-breather); salt; 1 fat carrot, grated; ½ white cabbage, finely shredded

This has proved very popular with our shop customers, so we thought you might like it too. Coleslaw is often used to ‘cool’ things down, so spiking this with hot-hot-hot harissa is an act of delightful culinary mischief.

Ingredients

½ white cabbage, finely shredded
1 fat carrot, grated
1 fat apple, grated

Side dish
Vegetarian

Raw

Method

Mix all the salad ingredients bar the parsley together in a bowl. Beat all the stuff for the dressing together. Apply the latter to the former, stirring well, then add the parsley.
