Kippers. Well, I’m allowed to eat them as long as Mr Shopkeeper isn’t expected to kiss me within three hours of the partaking thereof, and preferably only in the shop backroom or outdoors. Eating them at home is strictly taboo. It’s the smell, you see*. So I often end up having this as a shopkeepers lunch/treat.
