Mustard Dog Salad

The husband could possibly live on hotdogs. This has, I am told, something to do with a misspent youth in Belgium, where sausage culture is pretty big. But I suspect he is not alone in this passion: I know quite a few otherwise self-respecting folk who only visit Ikea so that they can loiter round the cash-out area at the end stuffing themselves with Swedish dogs. So this salad is a sure-fire hit with frankfurter fans.
