  • About

This is based on Devils on Horseback, the classic Victorian dish of bacon-wrapped prunes.

Ingredients

  • 12 fat pitted prunes
  • 1 cup of Earl Grey tea
  • 1fat tbsp cr

Method

Soak the prunes in the tea for about 1 hour. Meanwhile, preheat the grill. Beat the cream cheese with the walnut and za’atar, and grill the bacon until it is pleasingly crispy.

When you are ready to assemble, drain the prunes and wipe dry. Make a small incision along the side of each one, and use a teaspoon to stuff them with the nutty spiced cheese. Chop the bacon into bite-size
