  • 5 oz fresh ginger, thinly sliced
  • 1 oz lemongrass, from tender stalk portion, cut into small pieces

Method

In a blender, combine the ginger, lemongrass, sugar, and water and blend on high until the mixture is finely puréed and the friction from the motor begins to heat the mixture—you’ll see steam begin to rise—2–3 minutes.
