Measure into the upper part of a double saucepan a gill of brown sauce, two or three tablespoonfuls of game gravy, one of lemon juice, half of mushroom ketchup and half a glass of port wine. Add fine sugar, salt and cayenne pepper to taste. Make very hot, but take care that it does not boil.
