Pauline Nguyen: Crab is one of my favourite foods — I love the ritual of donning a bib (debris and finger bowls at the ready), cracking the shell, picking and sucking the meat. It can be a messy and time-consuming process, but the reward is succulent and satisfying. My brothers are not so patient. They would rather have the job done for them or, better yet, eat the whole crab, shell and all.
