This is an Australian delicacy very similar to the Hagelslag Dutch sandwiches. Follow the recipe for The Sprinkles Sandwich above but top with 20g rainbow-hued hundreds and thousands instead.

Ingredients

Salted butter, at room temperature
4 slices white bread, thinly sliced
Approximately 40 g

Method

Butter the bread edge to edge, scatter the hundreds and thousands evenly. Close the sandwiches, cut off the crusts and cut into quarters.
