I’ve just realised I’ve been pronouncing this wrongly for years, as Patum Peporium, probably because it’s quite peppery. It’s the sort of thing you know your dad will like. It’s so hard to buy presents for men, so I used to buy my dad tubs of this for Christmas. One tiny and intense china pot would last for a year.
