These are very pretty. They are expensive, at about £1.50 each, but worth the cost. I recommend investing in a glass teapot just to see the extraordinary blossom unfurl (see stockists).

Method

Simply drop a flower ‘bomb’ into a glass teapot and pour just-boiled water (around 85°C) on top. Watch as the flower expands and grows within the pot. Pour into a fine china cup to drink.
