Freshly harvested string beans are delicious on their own with some salt and a squeeze of lemon. This recipe elevates them further with the addition of 2 kinds of coriander (the spice and the leaf, also known as cilantro).

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. (450 g) green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tbsp (30

Method

Instructions

  1. Boil green beans in a pot with heavily salted water for 3–5 minutes until cooked but still crunchy and vibrant green.
  2. While beans cook, warm up extra-virgin olive oil in a frying pan on medium-high heat. Add crushed coriander seeds and garlic slices. Sizzle for 2–3 minutes to infuse flavors.
  3. Add cooked green beans to the frying
