  • About

Flavored or scented butter is a great way to preserve herbs, edible flowers, and other garden goodness. What I love about making compound butter is that the flavor combinations are endless and the finished product freezes extremely well.

Ingredients

Method

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine softened butter and flavoring of choice. Mix well. Alternatively, you can use a small food processor.
  2. Serve as is or refrigerate for up to 1 week.
  3. Optional freezing method: Transfer the mixture to a sheet of plastic wrap. Carefully form the mixture into a cylinder, using the plastic wrap to help guide you. Rol
