  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, butter or ghee
  • 2 teaspoons cumin or caraway seeds

Method

  1. Heat the oil in a wok or deep skillet over medium-high heat. When the oil is hot, add the cumin and cook for 10 seconds until it becomes aromatic. Add the celery roots and stir-fry for 2 minutes. Add the lime juice, sugar, salt, pepper and turmeric, and stir-fry for 1 minute longer.
