  • 8 fresh artichokes, 1 package frozen (9 ounces), or 1 jar artichoke hearts

Method

  1. If using fresh artichokes, wash them under running water and cut off the stem close to the base. Remove the tough outer leaves and trim carefully around the base. Use scissors to cut off about 1 inch from the top. Trim any remaining leaves and scoop out choke and pink thorny leaves from center. Place ½
