I have a fondness for sticky toffee pudding. Perhaps it has something to do with its slight similarity to malva pudding – it’s basically just a darker, treacly version, right? In any case, it’s a crowd-pleaser and was very popular at the brasserie. Although it wasn’t as fancy as some of the other desserts on the menu, during winter you couldn’t beat it.
