This is a light snack. I’ve eaten green mangoes dipped in curry powder for most of my life, so when I arrived in Thailand, I was thrilled to find street vendors selling a similar snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 green mango
  • 30 ml sea salt
  • 2.5 ml dried chilli fl

Method

  1. Peel and thinly slice the green mango.
  2. In a pestle and mortar, combine the salt, chilli flakes and sugar and grind to a fine powder.
  3. Enjoy the mango slices dipped in the spicy salt.
