This recipe (phở xíu) tastes simply divine, and the secret is roast red pork seasoning mix (char siu powder). Choose a pork shoulder that still has some fat on it, so the meat will be juicy. This marinade sounds like a lot for 1 pound (454 g) of meat, but since you’ll make the sauce with it, it comes out just right in the end.
