Crêpes are always popular. Making wafer-thin crêpes can be a little tricky to begin with but it will get easier. The key is having a good non-stick pan. They’re not expensive and it’s worth investing in one.

Ingredients

  • sunflower or vegetable oil, for cooking crepes
  • 200 g thick clotted cream

Method

  1. Make the crêpes. Pour the ingredients into a bowl and whisk thoroughly. Pour the batter through a fine sieve into a bowl, cover with cling film and place in the fridge for 1-2 hours.
