  • ½ cup (125 ml) olive oil
  • 10 cloves garlic, smashed, peeled, and very fine


In a large stockpot, heat the oil over medium heat. Stir in the garlic and cook until soft, about 5 minutes. Stir in the potatoes and tomatoes. Bring to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

Add the remaining ingredients except the raisins and pine nuts. Return to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer, covered, for about 30 minutes, or until the potatoes and fish are cooked thro
