  • 1 cup (120 g) shelled roasted peanuts, skins rubbed off


Heat the oven to 375°F (190°C; gas mark #5; #5 British regulo).

In a shallow baking dish, toast the peanuts in the middle of the oven for 5 to 10 minutes, or until a shade darker, being careful not to burn them. Cool the peanuts completely.

In a food processor, pulse the peanuts until ground fine (do not grind to the point at which oil is released). Ground peanuts keep, covered
