This one’s slightly sweet, with a wee bit of bite—just like a Memphis belle. It’s said to be named for World War II’s most famous B-17 bomber, the Flying Fortress, now on display in Memphis after having flown 25 combat missions over Europe. Speaking of battles, there are two versions of this drink floating around. Some bartenders use equal parts Southern Comfort and Baileys Irish Cream, but I prefer this sleeker version.
