Years ago we’d have visited a Chinese restaurant and ordered as much meat as we could. Today, you’ll find us requesting an array of forgotten veggies, which if done right can be a real joy to eat. Here we keep things simple, showing you how to prepare awesome Asian greens in a matter of minutes.

Ingredients

  • ½ thumb-sized piece of fresh ginger
  • 1 fresh red chilli
  • tbsp black bean garlic sauce

Method

Peel and finely chop the ginger, then add to a small bowl. Thinly slice the red chilli, then add it to the bowl along with the sauce, sugar, 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and 3 tablespoons of cold
