We love the classy two-tone effect in this berry chia jam. As soon as you’ve made your way through the strawberry jam, the blackberry is ready and waiting. These jams are ideal for breakfast, whether they’re lathered all over toast or spooned into a bowl of porridge.
Rinse and pat dry the strawberries and blackberries, then trim the green tops off the strawberries and cut them in half.
Put the strawberries into one saucepan and the blackberries into another, and cook them separately over a medium heat for around 7–8 minutes, stirring frequently and using the back of a wooden spoon to break down the berries.
