Puffs of Air

Although the recipe for these puffs is from Madrid, the special buñuelo shops in the Barceloneta area of Barcelona make ones that are particularly light. I love to sit on a bench in the spring sunshine in this Mediterranean port, eating hollow buñuelos, sprinkled with lots of sugar, out of a paper cone.
