Chocolate-Covered Stand

Chocolate stands can be painted with white or dark chocolate: white chocolate creates the right look for a wedding cake, while dark chocolate stands are suitable for cocktail and dinner parties. Coating chocolate, though inappropriate for use in recipes, is ideal for covering cake stands: it is less expensive than real chocolate and sets very quickly once melted and painted onto the stand as it contains a high percentage of vegetable fat.
