Candy Stripes

This candy-stripe cake design, hand piped with vertical pinstripes in three bright colours, is eye-catching and fun. Changing the colours to complement the theme or flowers of an occasion is an effective way to completely transform the design. It can be adapted to create a feminine birthday cake, or made bold and bright for a more funky look. I have also used this technique for christening cakes in shades of blue and pink.
