Rosebud Heart

Heart-shaped cakes are very romantic, but they’re often considered to be rather old fashioned. For this special cake I have stacked three hearts, surrounded the tiers with a wide satin ribbon and studded the lips of the cake with delicate handmade sugar rosebuds. By adding just a few silver dragées on the sides of the tiers, I have created a clean, modern, stylish cake befitting the most contemporary of occasions.
