Amaryllis Christmas

White amaryllis are one of my favourite flowers and, as they are available in the winter, are a natural choice for this luxurious gold and white Christmas cake. This would make a perfect design for a special wedding anniversary celebrated at this time of year: simply change the colour of the ribbon - gold for 50 years, ruby for 40 years or silver for 25 years.
