Birthday Clown

Children’s birthday parties tend to conjure up images of painted faces, party games, balloons, streamers, toys and a special birthday cake. It is becoming common for children to have themed parties, sometimes with professional entertainers, and clowns are a particularly popular choice. This cake would complement such an occasion very well. I have added some brightly coloured chocolate drops around the cake for those too impatient to wait until the candles have been blown out!
