About

One of the very first cakes I made was a christening cake for my god-daughter Hannah. It, too, was a delicate petal-shaped cake dressed with yellow and white. Here I have added a pretty ‘needlepoint’ design around the top edge of the cake, which is mirrored around the board. The cake is finished with a plump sugar teddy bear holding a building block.
