Cream of mushroom soup has been Sue’s favourite since we were kids. As a teenager she, the more mature of the two of us, would always order soup at restaurants while I (Julie) ordered fries and gravy. Button mushrooms are fine to use in a cream of mushroom soup, and it’s a great way to use them up if they are starting to wither and dry out.
