Everyone needs a good banana bread recipe in their repertoire. It turns out white beans can slip right in undetected, which is a boon if you are in charge of the care and feeding of anyone who might choose to live exclusively on banana bread if they had the option. The beans make it a slightly more well-rounded snack, and will deliver some protein, too, if the loaf is sent in a school lunch. (It’s also great toasted, with peanut butter.)
