Granola bars are so much better made from scratch, and can be customized with any nuts, seeds, and dried fruit your kids like, in any proportion. Golden pea butter is available across Canada and in parts of the US and is well worth seeking out, but peanut or any other nut butter works as well. If you don’t have oat flour, make some by processing oats in a food processor until powdery, or try substituting brown rice or quinoa flour, which is available at most health food stores.
