Multi-layered baklava might sound daunting, but is actually a snap to make. It’s great when you have to feed a large group of people—a panful will give you almost 50 pieces. When working with phyllo, remember that it’s very forgiving—because there are so many layers, you don’t have to worry about it being perfectly straight, or whether it cracks or tears. As long as the one on top is intact, your baklava will be perfection.
