  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped

Method

Heat the oil in a medium saucepan over a low heat, and sauté the onions, garlic and curry leaves, until the onions are soft and turning golden.

Add all the rest of the ingredients up to and including the water, and bring to the boil. Cook on a medium heat for 10 minutes.
