  • 200 g (7 oz) dried anchovies
  • 1 medium onion, sliced

Method

Put the dried anchovies in a medium bowl and cover with water. Leave to soak for about 10 minutes to soften a little. Remove the heads and wash them well at least three times.

Put the anchovies in a medium bowl. Add all the other ingredients except the oil and leave to marinate for about 10 minutes, stirring well two or three times.
