Pecan pie can all too often be ordinary, but the use of maple syrup turns this one into a classic Stars dessert, especially served warm with coffee ice cream. Total sin.
Whisk together the eggs and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Stir in the maple and Karo syrups and then the melted butter.
Put the pecans in the pie shell and slowly pour in the syrup.
Serve the pie warm or at room temperature with ice cream or chantilly cream.
