Ingredients

  • 4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 2 tsp/10 mL sriracha or similar chili paste

Method

  1. With a mortar and pestle, pound the garlic, sriracha, and chiles until a slightly coarse paste is achieved.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the fish sauce, hot water, lime juice, sugar, carrots, and chili-garlic paste. Mix until the sugar has dissolved. Serve at room temperature.
