Commonly served alongside wonton soup or curdled soy soup, these crullers can be found all over China, especially during breakfast hours.

Ingredients

Method

  1. In a bowl, combine the baking soda, baking powder, and flour.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the alum, salt, and ammonia. Add the water and stir until the mixture becomes frothy.
