Method

  1. Combine the ricotta, sugar, amaretto, vanilla, orange zest, and cream in a blender and purée until smooth.
  2. Freeze in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer’s instructions. If necessary, allow to firm in a freezer to the desired consistency.
  3. Fold in the crushed cookies and serve.
